Trademark Guidelines

"OSDF Systems", the OSDF Systems logo, and related marks are trademarks of OSDF Systems. These guidelines explain acceptable use.

Permitted use

• Referring to OSDF Systems products and the OSDF format accurately and factually.
• Stating that your product "supports OSDF" or "is compatible with OSDF" when that is true and verified against the conformance suite.

Restrictions

• Do not use our marks in a way that implies endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship without written permission.
• Do not modify the logos or use them as part of your own product name or logo.
• Do not claim OSDF-certified status without completing the certification requirements.

The open format

The OSDF format is open and royalty-free. These trademark guidelines protect the names and logos so that "OSDF" continues to mean a verifiable, conformant implementation - they do not restrict implementing the specification.
